What is it?[edit | edit source]

The World Series Games was first held in the ShaneEyoho Universe in 2011 and in said universe are an international multi-sport event, meant for sports, or disciplines or events within a sport, that are not contested in the Olympic Games. (Although some events are.) The World Series Games is organised by the creator of the ShaneEyoho Universe: Shane Wray. The World Games are held every year between spring and summer although the event is sometimes held earlier/later in the year (2012 and 2016) due to broadcasting collisions with the Summer Olympic Games. As well as some of the athletes needing time to prepare for said Olympics. After The World Games in Glasgow in June-July 2017, the next host city will be Auckland in 2018.

To become part of The World Series Games programme, the sport must be widely spread in the world and the said sport must go under multiple health and safety checks. Sports can be submitted for discussion by peers as well. In each sport, only the best athletes or teams may participate, as determined by the international sports federations. In most classes, it is necessary to qualify by a top ranking at the world championships or a qualification tournament to be able to participate.
